YOUR PROVIDERS
Julie Eads is a lifelong resident of McDowell County and takes pride in her community, friends, and family. She knows firsthand the challenge of finding a balance between mental health and life and is dedicated to helping her clients find their balance. Julie received her nursing degree from Winston-Salem State University, and a master's degree from Frontier Nursing University, as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP).
Julie has worked with women and children for over two decades as an RN and continues to serve this population as a PMHNP. During her career, she discovered a deep passion for working with children. "The children in my life and work truly hold a special place in my heart; as I say, "Children are my heart."
Glenda Dobson is a lifelong resident of Avery County, dedicating her time to her husband, Bobby, of 31 years, their four sons, and six grandchildren. She attended Mayland Community College, earning her RN degree, and then pursued her master’s degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Chamberlain College of Nursing.
For nine years, Glenda has worked as an RN in various medical settings, with a primary focus on psychiatric and addiction medicine. She now serves her community as a PMHNP, feeling especially called to serve the mental health needs of women and children. Her primary goal as a PMHNP is to reach as many people as possible with love and compassion, where true healing can begin. “I believe God has placed me in a position to inspire hope and well-being.”
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.”
